Monochromatic and Perfect Pearls

This card was started simply by my desire to try out the Ranger Perfect Pearl Powder. Creating this card was so much fun and just a little messy.  First, I used painters tape and taped the four edges to a work surface, to create about a 1/2″ border. I then randomly blended two different distress oxide greens onto a piece of card stock.  Then I simply used my finger and blended/rubbed the perfect pearls onto the greens.  The perfect pearls really smoothed out the blending and made a beautiful effect on the green inks on the paper.  Just gorgeous.  I used an embossing folder from Stampin Up to create the raised image on the card.  To wrap it up, I mounted on green card stock and added a layered sentiment, hello.  Such a quick and easy card with a lot of wow.
