Winter Coffee – Greeting Farm

I’ve created a quick and cute holiday card to include in the 2017 Winter Coffee Blog hop.. There are 80 Sponsors for this event.. amazing!  A big shout out to the wonderful sponsors – Thank you!

In my last post I detailed the coloring of my lovely girl from the Greeting Farm’s Spice it Up stamp set.  I love combining the use of water and markers along with my Prisma colored pencils.  On this sweet little girl, I doodled in little holly leaves on her coat and doodled holly and berries on the cocoa mugs.  I like feeling confident enough to add my own designs.

I started with a piece of Stampin Up card measuring 3.5 x 5.  The back side is green and the front side has green chevrons (this came in a card kit from them).  The kit included a white doily and of course that goes with cocoa.  I added it of the center of the card and placed the girl in the middle.  Stamped out the Happy Holidays sentiment, fish tailed it and placed it at her feet ( to help ground her).  The last touch I added was a sprig of mistletoe hanging from the top of the card.  I wanted it to be just barely seen, kind of like what happens when we suddenly find mistletoe is hanging over us.
