Gnom-chaun

Hmm Gnom-chaun, could that be a word 🙂  This was a fun card I created to day.  I love using stencils for embossing.  The look they give is so beautiful; it always adds a special look to a card. On this card, I used the stencil for the green background as well as the white foreground.  I’m trying out a new technique leaving a ‘circle’ opening unembossed for ‘highlighting’ an image.  I like the look, but it still needs some perfecting.   I had already colored up a bunch of the My Favorite Things, You Gnome Me (love this stamp set).  I had just received my Hedgehog Hollow First Release kit and it had some lovely, Lawn Fawn products in it.  I could just see in my mind using the sprigs die for grass effect, and then with a little cutting on the flowers from the die set I made clovers.  I don’t own any sentiments for ‘Green’ day, so I stacked up some ‘hello’ dies and added it as my sentiment.

I’ll be entering this in the following Challenges:

Simon Says Stamp – Wednesday Challenge – Girl Power
